Real Star Upendra and producer Munirathna who have been behind the making of the controversial film Kataari Veera Sura Sundaraagni visited the Krishna Mutt to offer prayers to Lord Krishna. Upendra and Munirathna had a darshan of Lord Krishna through the Kanaka’s window.
Later both Uppi and Munirathna visited the Pontiff of Shiroor Mutt who had raised objections against the wrong depiction of Hindu gods in the film which inflamed the passions of many pro Hindu activists. The screening of the film was stopped in many places in Karnataka after which Munirathna and the film’s distributor Rockline Venkatesh visited Shiroor Mutt and assured that the objectionable sequences will be removed.
Both Upendra and Munirathna who had visited the Krishna Mutt and later had a meeting with Shiroor Mutt Pontiff Lakshmi Vara Theertha Swamiji sought the blessings of the revered swamiji. Both of them assured that objectionable sequences in the film will be removed. Munirathna sought the apologies of any Hindu activist who has been hurt over the depiction of Hindu gods in his film.
