The most awaited Kannada films this summer Anna Bond and Kataari Veera Sura Sundaraangi’ will be viewed by the Censor Board members on Wednesday, according to sources from the film industry.
The 2 D version of the Real Star Upendra and Ramya starrer Kataari Veera Sura Sundaraangi will be censored on Wednesday morning or afternoon, confirms Munirathna, the producer of the film. He said that the first print of the 2 D version has come on Tuesday night, but since Censor officials expressed their opinion that they will see the film on Wednesday it was decided to whow the film to the Censor Board members on Tuesday. However sources closer to the film unit revealed to Chitraloka Mega Portal that the technicians of the film had seen the 2 D print to make some necessary corrections.
Meanwhile, the Censor Board members are viewing Puneet Raj Kumar’s much awaited film Anna Bond on Wednesday morning and necessary formalities would be completed. The film is hitting the screens all over Karnataka on May 1. In the after noon the 2 D version Kataari Veera Sura Sundaraangi has been scheduled for viewing. Munirathna plans to take the censor certificate and place it before the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce.
Munirathna also confirms that the 3 D version of the big budget film that is made in three languages will be censored on Friday morning. He once again reiterated that the film will be released on 4th May as has been planned.
Producer and distributor K.Manju who has now been frantically trying to get his Upendra starrer film “God Father’ earlier to the Kataari Veera Sura Sundaraangi has also reiterated that he will be releasing the film by the next week. He did not specify the date of Censor of his film, though. He has indicated that he will get justice from the conciliatory meeting that is going on in the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce which was inconclusive on Tuesday. However another round of meeting is to be held on Thursday, 26th April after Rebel Star Ambareesh comes back to the city after finishing his shooting portions for Yogaraj Bhat directed Drama which is now being held in Mysore.
