KVSS Audio Review

The audio of Katari Veera Sura Sundarangihit the market on Thursday is a pack of melody and peppy tunes. The usual Upendra style and one of the songs Muthinantha Muthondhu…in the yesteryears Bahaddur Gandu cinema song tune is rendered by him.

The song Ambika…..is very romantic for youths while Jum Jumka…is best melody of the album. Something wonder expected from this 3D film audio album of  ‘KVSS’is missing. The entertainment is kept as the key word for songs like how the film aims at.

Jum Jumka Maiyalli tumka tumka Yee manadalli shuru preethi thumba aata edeyalli……a duet song the first one with the starting lines of a Hindi background Dil Mere Dhaka Dhak in chorus. Jinugu Jinugu Jenu thutiyalli….says the protagonist. I am your fan for beauty says the further lines. This is sung very melodiously. Hitha Hitha Viparitha….are well placed in expressing the love.

The second song in the album ‘Katari Veera Sura Sundarangi ’ is a racy number Ambika Chali Talenu Ambika….Bisi Madeya Ambika….Neenu Bale Bale danger Kano Nanu thunder and wonder….Idhu Hosa Tara Chali Kano….is a romantic song on Upendra and newcomer Kher in the song. For the youths this is a tempting number from V Harikrishna. Upendra in the get up of Mohana of ‘Raktha Kanneeru’.. Neenu Hudgira Hunter Kano…Aase Pattidella Nindhe Kano….is also on the image of Upendra on silver screen. This song is similar to Upendra and Ramya Krishna in ‘Raktha Kannneeru’.

3.  Orrige Nee...

Upendra in his inimitable voice with the title of the film set in the western background is the tune picked from ‘Bahaddur Gandu’ of Dr Rajakumar. The lyrics are changed. Muthinantha Muthondu Kodalenamma Yee Teenage vayasalle love barlebeku….This is chiding song with some social meaning later in the lines. Yavaglu Sukavagiro Thappu Kane Kashta Pattu Baduko life Great Kane…. Upendra telling teenage….that is beyond expectation. How it is used on the screen we have to wait and watch. Naavu Pooje Madadre Devru Kane Illa Andre Kallu Kane….is a good thought of the lyricist.

4.  Ulaala Ulalaala...

Ulaala Ulaal….Idhu Halu Kode Emme…Sumne Neenu Karko…a group song in the court room of Yamadharma is shot with Rambe Urvashi Menake – Suman Ranganath, Ramanithu Chaudharu and Rishika Singh with Upendra in the real ruffian style. Mundinidhalu Hindinindalo Kaayo Kona Yaake…is somewhat philosophical. The Ulalala…..is the current rage from ‘Dirty Pictures’ is used differently in this Kannada cinema.

5.  Parijatha Padya Hadidhe...

The last song in the album Parijatha Padya Hadidhe…Chakravaka Kunthu Kelidhe…..is second best melody of the album. The middle pitch of the voice and high at places is the beauty of the song. This is the song for Devakanye….played by Ramya in the film. The dream song for the actress is very well modulated in the voice of the singer Sunitha Boparaj.
