Munirathna, the newly elected President of the Kannada film producers association is known for his quick decisions and also quick changes about his own decisions. News emanating from Gandhinagar grapevine will confirm his changed stance about his new film with Super Star Upendra. The film was to have been launched on September 18, the birthday of Upendra and it was even titled as Gandhingara Mahathme which was registered in the film chamber. The film was supposed to be a remake of Udayanum Thaaram starring Mohan Lal and Sreenivasan.
Actor and Director Prem was chosen to play one important character in the film. Munirathna had also said that Ramya has been chosen as the heroine of this film.
But now the grapevine says that the plans have been changed and a new film will be launched on that day which will have an original story written by a young talented director.
