ಉಪ್ಪಿ ಪ್ರೇಮ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಹೆಸರು "ಗಾಂಧಿನಗರ ಮಹಾತ್ಮೆ" !!

ಪ್ರೇಮ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ಕಾಂಬಿನೇಷನ್ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡುತ್ತಿರುವವರು ಮುನಿರತ್ನ ಎಂಬುದುಗೊತ್ತೆ ಇದೆ. ಈ ಚಿತ್ರ ಉಪ್ಪಿ ಬರ್ತ್‌ಡೇ ದಿನ (ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 18) ಸೆಟ್ಟೇರಲಿದೆ. ಇಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೂ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಹೆಸರೇನು ಎಂದರೆ 'ಗಾಂಧಿನಗರ ಮಹಾತ್ಮೆ' ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿವೆ ಮೂಲಗಳು.

ಆದರೆ ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗದಿದ್ದರೂ ಗಾಂಧಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಲೆ ಈ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಲೀಕ್ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಇದೇ ಏನೋ ಗಾಂಧಿನಗರ ಮಹಾತ್ಮೆ! ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ಹೃದಯ ಭಾಗವಾದ ಗಾಂಧಿನಗರಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಕುತೂಹಲ ಕೆರಳಿಸಿದೆ.

ಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರಾದ ರಾಕ್‌ಲೈನ್ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್, ಮುನಿರತ್ನ, ಎಸ್ ವಿ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಬಾಬು, ಸೂರಪ್ಪ ಬಾಬು ಹಾಗೂ ರೆಹಮಾನ್ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಚಿತ್ರದ ವಿಶೇಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು. ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಾಯಕಿಯ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಗೋಲ್ಡನ್ ಗರ್ಲ್ ರಮ್ಯಾ ಅವರ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಬಹುತೇಕ ಖಚಿತವಾಗಿದೆ.

It is very surprising to find hat trick director Prem agreeing to work in a remake film as an actor. He was seen in 'Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe' as actor.Director Prem who boasts of originality in his films and lent it too on silver screen accepting a remake film with superstar Upendra is big news. Munirathna is producing the big film in a lavish style.

Upendra and Prem acting together in a remake of six years ago made Malayalam film 'Udayananu Tharam' is titled as 'Gandhinagara Mahatme'. The Tamil film was made as 'Vellithirai' and in Hindi it is 'Short Cut'.

In this remake film 'Gandhinagara Mahatme' six producers are part of the film in the acting department. Rockline Venkatesh, Sa Ra Govindu, Rajendra Singh Babu, Rehman, Soorappa Babu and Munirathna are in guest role.

Sadhu Kokila director of 'Raktha Kanneeru and Anatharu' for producer Munirathna is taking up direction of the biggest one of his career.
