A remake of Hindi film ‘Aitraaz’ in Kannada ‘Srimathi’ starring superstar Upendra and his wife Priayanka as wife in the film too with Celina Jaitley, Prem Chopra, Kota, Sayyaji Shindhe and others has been given ‘A’ certificate by the regional censor board, Bangalore.
Actress Celina Jaitley does what Priyanka Chopra has done in the original. The seducing portions must have got the ‘A’ certificate for the film says the sources.
The film ‘Srimathi’ date of release has been announced as 8th July 2011. Shankre Gowda producer of recent hit ‘Kempe Gowda’ is brimming with happiness on the release of this film because Upendra is also riding high with the success of ‘Super’ cinema which he directed too after 10 years.
‘Srimathi’ is releasing in Narthaki main theatre on Kempe Gowda Road.
